Shirt Search - Search for Popular T-Shirts in Multiple Shops

This tool makes it easy to search for popular t-shirts in several online shops including Amazon, Redbubble, Teepublic and Zazzle. Just enter your search terms in the text field and click on a link below to open the respective search result page.

When you enter or change text in this field, the links below will automatically be updated.
To open a link in a new tab, hold the Ctrl or Cmd (Mac) key and click on the respective link. You don't need to enter the term "shirt", it is added automatically where appropriate. Some of these links contain referral tokens. This means if you click on such a link and buy a product, I will receive a commission and the product price is the same for you.

Why these websites?

In my experience these are the best websites to find awesome t-shirts to buy online. Moreover, if you are a designer who sells or wants to sell t-shirts online, you can quickly get a glimpse of what is popular at the moment and which designs sell. Be inspired by what you see, but don't just copy popular designs. Below you find some additional information about the individual sites.

Amazon

Shirts have been sold on Amazon for several years and in fall of 2015 the online retail giant entered the Print on Demand (POD) sector with its Merch by Amazon program. This means that you can find a huge variety of shirts from different designers with all kinds of themes on Amazon. Moreover, the prices are often below the competition.

Search results are limited to the Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry : Novelty & More : Clothing category and sorted by average customer review.

Redbubble

Redbubble was founded in 2006 and has grown to one of the most popular places to buy and sell t-shirts on the web. There are a many talented designers who create great works of graphic art and sell exclusively through Redbubble. You won't find these designs elsewhere, unless they were ripped off by copycats. In addition to t-shirts, you can buy many of the designs on hoodies, dresses, mugs, stickers, posters, bags, phone cases, laptop sleeves and some even on duvet covers.

Teepublic

Teepublic is another place where you find many unique designs. In contrast to the other shops listed here, all shirts have the same price on Teepublic. At the time of writing this is US $20 for a classic t-shirt or $14 when there is a sale or during the first 3 days after a product is released. Teepublic also offers products like mugs, device cases or wall art.

Zazzle

Zazzle was founded in 2005 and is one of the veteran POD sites. There are a huge number of designs on many different products available. I know of no other POD site, that offers such a product variety. Another feature that distinguishes Zazzle are the customization options for buyers. You can customize designs by adding your own text or graphic and some designs come with one or more blank spaces that you can fill with your own text, such as your name or birth year. Zazzle also offers an API so you can even come up with your own shirt creation tool, such as the Born at Unix time shirt creator.
